Donate to the Rubin Family’s Advocacy Efforts:

Donations may be made to the Rubin Family directly and will help to support/ underwrite the cost of this website and the volunteer advocacy work Tamara is doing.  

Since October 13, 2008 (the date this website was started) we have received a total of $235 in donations from friends.  The web-hosting for this site costs $120 per year ($10 per month) - so $230 through August 2010.

Tamara has been invited to participate in the EPA Lead conference in Denver in September 2010, but the EPA has said they cannot fund her trip - she needs funding to cover expenses to attend this conference.  She has arranged for free lodging and estimates needing the following contribution to be able to attend this conference:

$183.40 for airfare (Southwest)

$40 for ground transportation (taxi to and from airport)

$100 for meals for the 3 day conference

$183.40 for airfare to bring baby Charlie (other three boys will stay home with dad!)

$160 for childcare for Charlie during the conference

Donate to the Foundation:

Click on the link to the right to make a donation to the foundation via PayPal. Donations will be held in a separate account until the foundation goes live. You will be given updates with the amount of money raised to date and the remaining amount of time estimated before the organization goes live. Donations to the foundation will be tax deductible, to the extent allowable by law.

As of August 2010, we have not yet received any donations for the foundation. Our goal is to officially incorporate the foundation by January 2011.
